Setting fixed IP in the ezeio

Most networks use a DHCP server to automatically assign IP addresses to the connected devices. This is the preferred method as it simplifies the administration of the network as well as allows for devices like the ezeio to be moved and replaced with no special reconfiguration.

If your network does not allow automatic IP assignment, you will need to set up the ezeio with a fixed IP address.

Through the web interface, you will find IP settings under Configure -> System:

Please be very thorough when entering the IP information. If the data is wrong, the ezeio will loose connectivity and will need to be reset.

When you enter and save the IP information in the web UI, the data is not save into the ezieo unless the ezeio is communicating already with the servers.

The IP address needs to be loaded into the ezeio itself.

For this to happen, you need to first connect the ezeio to a network with DHCP so it can synchronize the settings.

For more information, please refer to the ezeio manual.
